This was a fun summer wedding! As the girls happily were getting ready and preparing of the wedding day, the guys were in the hotel lobby doing fireball shots! Once everyone was ready for the big day, we drove to the Holy Name of Mary Parish in Valley Stream NY. Since the guys had to arrive to the church before the bride, we had some time to take some fun groomsman portraits in an ally that was across from the church! I loved this urban and perfectly shaded spot! When we were finished, the guys took their placed inside the church so that the arriving guests wouldn’t see them! Finally, the beautiful bride arrived in a Rolls Royce and enthusiastically waited to walk down the aisle with her father!

The church ceremony was filled with happy tears! I absolutely love it when couple and family cry at weddings! To me, it’s something that can’t be faked so I see them as real and raw moments! After the ceremony, we headed to The Woodlands at Woodbury in Woodbury, New York. It’s a beautiful mansion with gorgeous marble floors and fireplace! As we arrived, we quickly headed to the back of the property and took pictures of the very large wedding party! When we were finished with the bridal party, the headed inside for the cocktail hour. We continued to take couple pictures around the beautiful property! They had to dodge a few golf balls, but we survived!

We finished in time for the couple to participate in their cocktail hour! During that time, I had a chance to photograph the gorgeous and classic reception room! This venue is wonderfully elegant and I just loved it! The couple was introduced and had their first dance! Afterward, the kids of the wedding surprised the bride with a song and speech! Because the bride loved to take pictures, they created a photo for her! So sweet! Everyone danced all night long and the couple had a sparkler exit! Congratulations to the newly married couple!
