I would love to personally relive Rick & Jen’s wedding day that took place at the Windrift Hotel in Avalon, NJ.  It was a gorgeous day and I just loved all the details that Jen put together for her wedding!  The ceremony took place on the beach and afterward, everyone gathered around to watch the newlywed couple drive off in a 1957 Thunderbird that belong to her father’s best friend!  When they came back, Jen was behind the wheel (and I don’t blame her one bit)!

Cocktail hour took place on the outdoor deck and although I wasn’t fast enough to get photo evidence, but there were dolphins frolicking in the ocean!  Is that good luck?  If that’s not officially a sign of good luck I think it is now… such a perfect day!  The reception room was filled with pink flowers and wonderful details; very modern, sleek, & classy!  The couple had a live band perform threw out the night (ThisIsMasquerade.com).  Dj’s are great, but a live band has such a different vibe!  Everyone was dancing all night!  Congratulations to Jennifer & Rick!!

Bride Gown: Ivory with silver beading, Allure Couture. My vail was my “something borrowed” from one of my best friends/bridesmaid. And my cousin had my purse and little heart pin made from my grandmothers wedding dress for me to pin underneath.
Grooms Attire: Classic black and white Vera Wang tux
Flowers: Mary and Dawn (sisters) of A Garden Party, Elmer NJ- I surprised my mom, sister, and mother in law by having extra pieces from my dress wrapped around their bouquet.
Rings: Ricky’s mom had our bands custom made at Kent Island Jewelry, in Chester MD. All the diamonds in my band are Ricky’s grandmother’s. He also has one of her diamonds embedded on the inside of his band.

Brides Jewelry: my earrings were just from Macys. But, I wore a gold and sapphire ring that was given to me the night before by a best friend. It was her mother’s who recently passed away and I was close with her. Very cool!

Invitations: weddingpaperdivas.com
Makeup: Creations by Mia
Center Pieces: Same florist, A Garden Party-some were made from driftwood Mary found on the beach a week before the wedding! The fish bowls were my idea 🙂
Card Box: A personalized rustic-looking white treasure chest from Etsy. We are keeping the cards in it and it’s now a decoration in our house.
Bridesmaids dresses: navy blue Lela Rose cocktail dress
Groomsman attire: gray Vera Wang tux with white and Navy under
1957 Thunderbird- Lent to us by very close family friends, it’s been passed down generations in their family and is very sentimental to all of us.
