Swallow East Montauk Wedding

This beautiful Alice in Wonderland themed wedding began in down town Montauk, NY. It was a full house, and everyone including the little girls, were getting their hair and make up done! Even the Bride’s schnauzer dog was dressed and ready for the wedding festivities! I loved the charms on the bouquet. Alison’s “something blue” was the vial of glass seed beads and the rest was of course Alice and Wonderland charms. Alison’s uncle arrived in their wedding get away car. A 1949 Buick Super 8 black coupe, very classy!
Everyone headed to the church ceremony that was held at the First Presbyterian Church of Amagansett. The church had a full house and many guests had to go to the second floor and view the wedding through a glass wall! Even with everyone fitting in tight, no one was happier than Marc. When Allison walked down the aisle, he never took his eyes off of her as if she were groceries, haha! After the beautiful ceremony, we all headed by to Montauk Point State Park which is the very tip of Long Island. The cliff above the water is very intimidating to say the least but the view is breathtaking!
After all of the family, bridal party, and couple photographs were taken, we all headed to Swallow East. The restaurant was closed to the public. The Alice and Wonderland theme continued with cute signs, teapots, key wedding favors, and books! This is the second wedding I’ve ever been to that not only had passed hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, but also had larger passed hors d’oeuvre for dinner (and both weddings took place in Long Island)! I really like the concept, because you can try everything, one bit at a time! Everyone danced all night and the couple ended it by cutting their Mad Hatter wedding cake! Congratulations Alison and Marc!
Lovely photographs! You did such a great job capturing their special day! And that dog is so darn handsome!
