I was excited when Kim suggested we visit Stokes State Forest in Branchville, NJ for their autumn engagement session! It was the perfect week in October for the foliage! The park was very crowded. We passed this strange “AT” symbol that was nailed to a tree and painted. Thats when Bob informed me of this mysterious Appalachian Trail that we were on! He the trail starts in Maine and ends in Georgia. I couldn’t believe I had never heard of this before!

As we continued with the session, it appeared we passed a traveler who had tied his hammock to some trees and was snoring away! If I had someone to carry all of my food and supplies for me, I suppose I’d have no problem hiking the Appalachian Train in its entirety! Anyway, it was a gorgeous day and as we walked I picked up the best autumn leaves to use as props for shooting the ring! Can’t wait for the wedding!
