Seaside Heights Boardwalk after Hurricane Sandy {Part 1}
Seaside Heights Boardwalk after Hurricane Sandy www.JamieBodo.com
This post is long overdue, but what can I say? Wedding are at the top of my priority list 🙂 I visited Seaside April 9th (just in time to miss the Seaside parking police…don’t get me started, lol!). When I arrived, I found it sad but also somehow breathtaking. It was a beautiful day and the boardwalk was about 1/3 finished. At the very end of the boardwalk, construction workers were almost finished with the foundation of the boardwalk; drilling into the sand and placing what looked like extra long telephone poles.
that is sad at one time that looks like it was a fun place to be!
Great perspectives…thanks for sharing.
So terrible! You did a great job of capturing it.
I just saw this on the Bachelorette Monday night (I know, guilty pleasure). So hard to believe that nature can have that much force. Unbelievable. Beautiful photos Jamie!
Wow! A good reminder to support communities still in the rebuilding phases of natural disasters when the rest of the nation tends to move on..
I just watched the Bachelorette on Monday night and cried when I saw how much devastation there is still!! You did a great job documenting!!
Oh my, these are awesome! Such devistation and growth in the same place. You have a journalistic approach and I love that they tell a long story all stitched together. Great job at helping us experience it too.
