I was extra excited when Sarah requested to have her engagement session shot in the historic Old City section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the peak of autumn. I met Sarah + Brian right in front of Independence Hall. It took me back to the first time I ever went to Philly; the big class trip of 5th grade. I guess it’s true that first impressions are everlasting, because since I was only 10 years old (and several inches shorter) than I am now, I look at Independence Hall and I feel like the whole place shrunk (…. or maybe I just got taller, haha!).
Anyway, the weather was perfect on this random Tuesday afternoon! Sarah had a few specific spots on her must have list and the stoops of Philly were one of them! She said when she visits Brian she passes through this cute neighborhood nearby and just had to incorporate that into the session! My favorite spot was the old library. The stairs were extremely uneven, but I felt that gave them character. Before the end of the session, Brian showed me pictures of his Pomeranian inside the fridge!!! Haha! I love Pomeranians and it was a humorous ending to the perfect day! I absolutely can’t wait for their wedding at the Il Tulipano in Cedar Grove NJ!
